Cute little game.
It's a lot easier if your computer has a touch screen :^)

Cyberdevil responds:

The potential double finger/thumb method hmm. :) True true, with potential to master via mouse for additional difficulty!

Thanks for playing!

Peppy music, simple but serviceable art, and a fun gameplay gimmick. This was enjoyable all the way through!

The soul ability can be a bit hard to use at times. It isn't always immediately clear what direction your soul will go when you press X. Sometimes it's directly up, sometimes it's in the direction of your momentum. Maybe some graphical indication would have helped streamline things.

Overall, a fun experience!

devdwarf responds:

it always goes directly up. you then turn it with the left and right keys.

Interesting little game.

Bit of feedback: The English in the script was a bit rough. Maybe next time, get a native English speaker to look over it so it sounds more natural.

Overall, good job!

A bit obtuse to figure out- but once you do, it's a fun experience!

I liked it at first... but the virus mechanic is poorly explained. After trying over and over at the level with the two buttons in the middle, virus on the right, and exit on the left, I just couldn't figure it out. I feel like there was a game mechanic that should have been explained, but wasn't.

Good effort though. Had some pretty fun levels in there.

Very pretty and fun to play!
One piece of feedback- I feel like you could have done more with the duplicate swords mechanic. It didn't really make sense that you duplicated every time you reset. You basically would reset twice at the start of each level with no real planning or strategy.

If you ever take this concept further (which would be cool!), you should see if you can make some creative puzzles that make use of the doppelganger protag concept. I'm sure there's inspiration out there.

Yword responds:

Thank you very much for playing! And thanks a lot for your feedback!

Challenging, but fair. Though it takes some time to get used to the mechanics, it's a great little puzzle platformer.

Fun little proof of concept! Not too frustrating, but still provided a fun challenge. It was almost entertaining whenever I failed a level, just watching the little guy dance into a hole because I forgot to plan ahead. The art and animation was fluid and stylish in a way that stands out!

A fun, short little game. The art and writing really suited the game's mechanics, and helped motivate me to get through to the end. It was a lot of fun trying to figure out a strategy for certain parts, but it was even more fun to battle to the next checkpoint once you've figured it out.

Great work!

morazor responds:

Thank you very much, I'm especially happy that you liked the artistic side of the game since my background is 100% nerd programmer :D

Amazing work as always from Scriptwelder. I'd give feedback, but the sheer amount of polish makes it almost impossible. I really hope that you continue to use your talents on an ever grander scale, Polish friend.

I suppose the only thing I noticed was that gift cards were not useful, at least not on normal difficulty. Typically if you want to improve your influence, you would use your money to improve the water supply. Exchanging money for influence is silly when you could use that money to improve the water supply, giving you more influence per turn. In the late game I think I used one small gift to buy enough influence for a generous donation, but that was it, really.
